The Story of Ruth & Boaz. October 8, Thursday (See Article)

There are several readings which are customary for the Father to read to his family during the week of Tabernacles or En-gathering. One of those books is the Book of Ruth in the Old Testament. It is the story of the blending of two nations. The Wealthy planter, Boaz, Becomes the Kinsman redeemer and marries the Little Widow from Moab. Moab being a country who worshiped Baal, .Ruth declared she would worship the God of her Mother in Law, Naomi. There are lots of sweet stories entwined this beautiful Love story. God is recognized as the God of every person. His Grace extended to a little girl who was raised as an idol
worshiper. Dr, Pat Hays Sings it like this, ?I want a girl, just like the girl, that married dear ole dad.? Of course, he is talking about Salmon, Boaz?s Father who married Rahaab the
Harlot. Both these ladies came from nations and tribes who were Baal worshipers.
They chose to serve The God of Salmon and Naomi & Boaz. They are in the lineage
of David and Jesus, just as Ruth & Boaz are. It takes all kinds for our Lord. He loves
every one. He does not like their sin, but He never stops loving the person. Thank you
Lord for your Mercy and Grace you used with me.
Boaz is a type and shadow of Jesus, as he purchases Ruth?s Redemption, as
her Kinsman Redeemer.. However, we are blessed n that salvation does not cost us
anything. Jesus Paid for it in full.. Not only is Salivation free, it is a better life,
with a hope and a future. That always reminds me of the promises in the book of
the Prophet Jeremiah 29:11-16 : ?For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,
saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil,
to give you an expected end. 12: Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray
unto me, and I will hearken unto you. 13: And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye
shall search for me with all your heart. 14: And I will be found of you, saith the LORD
and I will turn away your captivity, and I will gather you from all the nations, and
from all the places whither I have driven you, saith the LORD; and I will bring you
again into the place whence I caused you to be carried away captive. 15: Because
ye have said, The LORD hath raised us up prophets in Babylon; 16: Know that thus
saith the LORD of the king that sits upon the throne of David, and of all the people
that dwell in this city, and of your brethren that are not gone forth with you into captivity;
If we mess up, God still has a plan for our lives. It is never a second-best paln. It is always a plan for us with a hope and a future.. Even if we have messed up.
